I am sort of thinking of getting a mac, although im not exactly sure its going to be an enjoyable experience. I hear they are fairly dumbed down.

I personally own a Mac mini along with a custom built PC and an older PC that is not running an OS. I must say that if you love music, get a Mac. It's just an amazing experience. It might take time to get used to Mac took me some time. I personally still think Mac OS has ways to go with file management, but I like it for general purpose computing.
